Donald Trump is overseeing the most corrupt administration of our lifetime, despite his promise to “drain the swamp,” and the GOP—GREG WALDEN— is enabling him:

• Five Trump associates are now convicted felons (Manafort, Cohen, Flynn, Gates, Papadopoulos); many more linked to criminal wrongdoing, including his first two boosters who have been indicted — Collins for insider trading, Hunter for misusing campaign funds
• Two Cabinet members resigned over corruption allegations; at least four others are under investigation for ethical transgressions; many aides left in disgrace
• The Trumps continue to use their businesses for personal gain
• Trump abuses his power to punish perceived adversaries, including yanking security clearances from critics
• Cohen’s guilty plea implicated Trump in an illegal campaign finance scheme; Trump’s 2020 campaign offered Omarosa Newman $15,000/month for her silence
• Trump is under investigation for conspiring with a hostile foreign power to interfere with the 2016 election and obstructing the investigation and is being sued for using his charity for financial/political benefit

To combat this brazen corruption, Senator Elizabeth Warren introduced wide-ranging anti-corruption legislation (S.3357):

• Bans government officials from becoming lobbyists
• Toughens conflict-of-interest rules/judicial ethics
• Regulates/restricts corporate lobbyists; ends their control over rulemaking
