PROTECT FAMILIES AT THE BORDER
STOP KAVANAUGH CONFIRMATION
America has long been a beacon for the world, setting an example to follow. But the Trump regime is ceding this honorable distinction by attacking immigrants and constantly flouting the law while doing it.
The United States violated a court order to reunite all children under 5 with their families. While the administration got an extension and finally began to comply, it is unclear if they are on track to meet the next deadline. Meanwhile, families separated at the border are living in deplorable conditions and suffering abuse.
Where’s Walden?!
The fight to correct these wrongs is playing out in the courts and may reach SCOTUS. Brett Kavanaugh believes a president can decline to enforce parts of a statute, even if it is upheld to be constitutional. This legal theory alone makes him unfit to serve on the Supreme Court.
We need Congress to act as a co-equal branch of government. Our MoCs must stand up for what is right.
