CALL TO ACTION #734: Thanks to our MoCs who Support Impeachment Inquiry (August 2, 2019)
THANKS TO OUR MoCs WHO SUPPORT IMPEACHMENT INQUIRY
For months, we have asked our Members of Congress to hold Trump accountable for his impeachable offenses with an inquiry.
As of this writing five of Oregon’s MoCs have come out in support of an impeachment inquiry: Representatives Blumenauer, Bonamici and Defazio; Senators Merkley and Senator Wyden.
Where’s Walden? Providing Cover for Trump!
Let’s send heartfelt thanks to our senators! We thank them for having the courage to stand up and fight for our democracy. We thank them for making it clear that impeachment inquiry is not political, but the right thing to do. We thank them for showing that no one is above the law – not even the president. We thank them for shining a light on Trump’s impeachable offenses – including his obstruction of justice and illegal treatment of our neighbors at the border
We ask that they continue to educate the public and push Congress to hold impeachment hearings as soon as the recess is over.
