Sick Man, Sick Party
Trump is sick. His body is sick with COVID-19; his mind is sick with malignant narcissism compounded by high doses of steroids. He’s bleeding support, yet desperate to stay in power to avoid prison for his many crimes.
Trump ignored expert recommendations, then shrugged off about 211,000 COVID-19 deaths. He hid his own infection, blaming first the military and then gold star parents for infecting him. He knowingly exposed numerous people, including his secret service detail.
Trump and his GOP enablers gleefully rip children from their parents at the border. They gleefully rush to confirm a SCOTUS nominee, hoping to steal the election and end our health care, reproductive, and civil rights. Trump gleefully commits federal and Constitutional crimes, knowing his GOP will gleefully protect him and themselves from accountability.
We know who Trump and his enablers are, and we are not helpless. We have the power to call our Members of Congress daily and insist they amplify the message to count every vote while using every tool at their disposal to block confirmation of Trump’s SCOTUS nominee. We have the power to do everything we possibly can to Get Out the Vote and protect the results.

Lines for Life has created a Virtual Wellness Room to offer support to helpers, mental health professionals, first responders, social workers and anyone considered an essential worker during the COVID-19 pandemic in Oregon. Each check-in call will have a facilitator to guide the conversation.
“We at Lines for Life want to thank you for all the work you do to keep our communities safe,” the organization said. “We are offering a place for helpers to exchange stories of hope and areas of need. We especially want to hear what things are coming up for you personally and explore how we can cheer one another on to continue the good work you are already doing. We ultimately want to create space to breathe out stress and breathe in hope.”
