Fake Attorney General William Barr acts as Trump’s personal defense attorney and fixer. He has politicized and corrupted the DOJ to serve Trump’s political agenda,  and actively protects the racist law enforcement system that brutalizes people of color.

 Here are some examples – Barr:

• Attacked, misrepresented, and redacted the Mueller report attempting to support Trump’s claim of exoneration.
• Attacked the report of the independent Inspector General who found no bias in the Mueller report, then supported Trump when he fired him.
• Announced DOJ investigations into those who investigated Trump, promoting false right-wing conspiracy theories.
• Ordered a lenient sentence for one of Trump’s convicted political allies and halted the investigation of another.
• Refused to testify or provide information to Congress after his department withheld the whistleblower complaint.
• Denied the existence of systemic racism in law enforcement and refused to investigate it.
• Warned communities to show proper respect for law enforcement or “find themselves without the police protection they need.” 
• Violently suppressed Americans protesting the murder of George Floyd with a militarized force that he assembled, some of whom wore no insignia or ID.

Barr is unfit to hold the office of Attorney General; demand that Congress investigate his abuse of power at the DOJ.

Lines for Life has created a Virtual Wellness Room to offer support to helpers, mental health professionals, first responders, social workers and anyone considered an essential worker during the COVID-19 pandemic in Oregon. Each check-in call will have a facilitator to guide the conversation.

“We at Lines for Life want to thank you for all the work you do to keep our communities safe,” the organization said. “We are offering a place for helpers to exchange stories of hope and areas of need. We especially want to hear what things are coming up for you personally and explore how we can cheer one another on to continue the good work you are already doing. We ultimately want to create space to breathe out stress and breathe in hope.”
