Call to Action: December 6, 2018

28 Days Until The House Turns BLUE!

PROTECT MUELLER

PROTECT THE CONSTITUTION

As the prosecutorial net closes in on Trump and his closest allies, the danger to the Mueller investigation increases. Mueller’s strategy of making his investigation results public through “speaking” indictments and court filings has added immeasurably to our understanding of Trump’s criminality and corruption. More revelations and indictments are expected at any time.

Trump’s growing anxiety is palpable. This week he sent tweets to pressure witnesses and subjects of the Mueller investigation. He also dangled the possibility of pardons to enforce “omerta,” the mob’s code of silence. Most of us see these actions as obstructions of justice.

How about you, GREG WALDEN? Just Republican business as usual?

On Tuesday, Mueller’s sentencing recommendation for Flynn—while heavily redacted—revealed that Flynn had earned a recommendation for no jail time because he had rendered “substantial assistance” in at least three separate investigations. That news, together with the revelations expected in Mueller’s sentencing recommendations in the Manafort and Cohen cases, is bound to raise Trump’s blood pressure, and the likelihood that he may attempt to shut down the investigation.

Sens. Flake (R-Az) and Coons (D-Del) have repeatedly tried to force a vote on legislation to protect Mueller (S.2644), despite McConnell’s opposition. Trump, McConnell and the rest of the complicit regime continue to threaten our constitutional system of checks and balances.

Must Stand Up to Stop Them
