Healthcare is a human right, needed for each person to reach their potential.
Democrats work to expand healthcare while Trump and his GOP systematically take our healthcare away.

Constantly threatening the ACA, Medicaid, and Medicare along with repealing the individual mandate were just the beginning.

Trump’s latest assaults:

— Approving Medicaid work requirements which will cost thousands their health care – up to 97,000 in Kentucky alone. Work requirements don’t lead to sustained employment and place undue administrative burdens on participants.

— Proposing to expand short-term plans to one year and to include “junk insurance.” Junk insurance is not required to cover essential health benefits or preexisting conditions. When combined with the repeal of the individual mandate, these changes will increase premiums up to 18%.

Democrats have FIVE plans to expand Medicare and/or Medicaid.

First, Protect Existing health care: ACA, Medicare, Medicaid!
Second, Expand Healthcare for ALL!

“My name is [–] and I’m a constituent and voter from [city], Oregon [zip code]. I am OUTRAGED  by work requirements for Medicaid and expanding short-term insurance plans. I remember Greg Walden’s key role in attempts to repeal the ACA and the individual mandate. Please tell him he needs to work for his constituents and protect the ACA, Medicare and Medicaid while expanding healthcare for all. I will remember his actions in November. Thank you.”

It has become clear that we need a different Congress to protect our healthcare, which must include replacing Greg Walden with someone who will represent US, We The People. The attacks on our healthcare won’t change until Congress does.

VOTE in the Primary for the progressive candidates of your choice. Be sure all of your progressive friends return their ballots by May 15—people who vote in the primary are EIGHT TIMES more likely to vote in the general election!
