TRUMP COULD WIN AGAIN

WITH RUSSIA’S HELP

Russia attacked the 2016 presidential election. Robert Mueller warned last week that the Russians will attack the 2020 elections. “They are doing it as we sit here,” Mueller testified. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell won’t allow a vote on any of the bills designed to protect the 2020 election from foreign attack.

Why would McConnell refuse to defend the 2020 elections? Because of recent large Russian investments in McConnell’s home state of Kentucky? Or, maybe because he has taken “donations” from the manufacturers of election machines that are known to be vulnerable to hackers?

Whatever Moscow Mitch’s reasons, failing to protect our elections will assist Russian meddling to boost the chances of reelecting Trump. Plain and simple.

Securing elections is not difficult, but it takes money. Steps include:

  • Providing paper backup copies of voter registration databases.
  • Purchasing voting machines that leave a paper trail.
  • Implementing post-election audits to ensure accuracy and legitimacy of the results.

Bills to harden voting systems are awaiting votes in the Senate and should be passed. Otherwise, Putin’s plan to destabilize our democracy will be furthered by none other than the Republican Party.

Where’s Walden? Helping Trump help Putin destabilize our democracy.

Fight Russian Election Interference!

Pass Bills to Harden Our Voting Systems!
