March and Sing with ORD2 Indivisible at the 4th of July Parade in Ashland

MEET UP LOCATION: Liberty Street, near Triangle Park above Siskiyou Blvd. From the intersection of Liberty & Iowa Streets, walk South along Liberty until you find us.

TIME TO MEET: 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. From the Ashland Chamber of Commerce: “The earlier you arrive, the closer to the head of the street you will be and the sooner you will go in the parade…You must line-up by 8:30 a.m.”

Please note: Many roads in Ashland will be closed at 8:00 a.m. so those driving, please plan accordingly.

T-shirts still available! Many of us will be wearing our new ORD2 Indivisible t-shirts while we march. For those who would like to purchase one prior to July 4, please private message Teresa Safay or send an e-mail to

From Rebecca Cohen, artist of the logo on the t-shirts: “The logo represents Americans on both sides of the aisle coming together. The red & blue ‘threads’ coalesce to form an unbreakable (indivisible) weave. The weave could be interpreted as the ‘fabric’ of our democracy or as a shield against the eroding of our democracy. It could also be interpreted as a symbol of collaboration, of working together in a bipartisan fashion.”

We will be singing “America The Beautiful,” “This Land Is Your Land” and “My Country ‘Tis Of Thee.” Even if you were not able to join us for one of our rehearsals, we encourage all to sing along as we march. Click here to download the lyrics:
