THIS DICTATORIAL PRESIDENT MUST BE STOPPED.
BEGIN AN IMPEACHMENT INQUIRY NOW
Trump continues his dictatorial ways, ignoring his constitutional duties and the constraints imposed upon him by the separation of powers. Since Congress has failed to rein him in—either through legislation or impeachment—he continues to act as if the legislative and judiciary branches of our government are irrelevant—committing impeachable offenses almost daily.
His proposed citizenship question clearly shows that:
- he lied to lower and Supreme courts about the rational and need for an expedited decision
- he threatened to put off the 2020 census which violates the Constitution
- he refused to accept the Supreme Court’s ruling rejecting a citizenship question
- he ordered further lies from the Justice Department to keep this issue alive
Other recent impeachable acts include:
- forcing the Justice Department to work to overturn the ACA
- ordering witnesses, including Mueller attorneys, to flout all congressional subpoenas and refuse to provide subpoenaed documents
- ignoring court decisions protecting asylum-seekers and their children, laws allowing asylum-seekers entry into the U.S. and their right to interpreters
- lying about the deplorable conditions in concentration camps
- encouraging ICE to terrorize asylum-seekers and arrest innocent bystanders
- threatening to refuse to leave office at end of his term
The members of the U.S. House of Representatives (GREG WALDEN!) must show Trump is not above the law.
But they must act soon. Remind our MoCs that an immediate impeachment inquiry is the only way to rein Trump in—
before it’s too late.
