Today is ZERO minus THREE DAY!

***Today’s Call To Action***

Undelivered Ballots

Hold Louis DeJoy Accountable

The vote count continues—both in battleground states and those already called. Trump’s team is filing frivolous lawsuits like there’s no tomorrow, because in Trump’s mind, that’s true if he loses. Biden leads in Arizona, Nevada and . . . GEORGIA! Pennsylvania is on track to turn BLUE as early as today. The Senate’s composition awaits 2 special elections in Georgia on January 5; down-ballot results remain murky. And, there’s an Alaska Senate race that is very close with more votes to count.

Trump and his team are still trying to hijack the election by declaring victory, openly inciting violence and . . . filing those frivolous lawsuits. Honest, hardworking election officials are undaunted, staying laser focused processing ballots one at a time to ensure that all votes are counted.

During the heat of this battle, we cannot ignore the role Postmaster Louis DeJoy has played for wannabe Mad King Trump by illegally slowing or stopping the flow of mail-in ballots. Tens of thousands of these ballots may never be counted. DeJoy’s team ignored Tuesday’s judicial order to scour processing facilities early enough to deliver all unprocessed ballots before polls closed.

We The People demand that Congressional committees immediately investigate to hold DeJoy accountable.

Call Congress!

Every Vote Must Count!

**ACTION ONE: CALL OUR U.S. SENATORS**

SAMPLE SCRIPT FOR SENATOR MERKLEY AND WYDEN:

“My name is [–] and I’m a constituent from [city], Oregon [zip code].

In our democracy, every vote matters, and every vote must be counted. Despite the generally smooth ballot counting operations, Louis DeJoy’s policies have greatly slowed the Postal Service’s ability to promptly deliver mailed ballots. And, USPS supervisors blatantly ignored a court order to ensure that all ballots in their facilities be delivered in time to be counted.

This, We the People cannot abide. Please tell the Senator I demand that this travesty cannot stand. The Senate must investigate! Hold DeJoy accountable!

Thank you.”

**ACTION TWO: CALL COMPLICIT GREG WALDEN**

SAMPLE SCRIPT FOR WALDEN:

“My name is [–] and I’m a constituent from [town/city], Oregon [zip code].

Tell Greg Walden I demand that this travesty not stand. Congress must investigate! Hold DeJoy accountable!

Greg sold us out on healthcare, the tax scam, big pharma, the internet and so much more. The least he can do at this point is to stand up to the most corrupt and inept president in modern history. Silence is consent. Silence is complicity.

Thank you.”

“We at Lines for Life want to thank you for all the work you do to keep our communities safe,” the organization said. “We are offering a place for helpers to exchange stories of hope and areas of need. We especially want to hear what things are coming up for you personally and explore how we can cheer one another on to continue the good work you are already doing. We ultimately want to create space to breathe out stress and breathe in hope.”

The meetings are held using Zoom conference calls from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at this link: https://zoom.us/j/4848426773Please share this invite with anyone in your network of Oregon helpers.
