AAUW of ASHLAND TO HOST VIRTUAL MEETING
The American Association of University Women of Ashland will host an online meeting at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan 23, on Zoom.
New Ashland Mayor, Julie Akins, will present at the January monthly meeting hosted by the Public Policy team. Mayor Akins previously served on the Ashland City Council for two years and now takes the reins as mayor at this challenging and critical time for the city of Ashland. Mayor Akins will answer questions specific to the economy, climate, plans for the upcoming fire season, crucial city staffing, housing and solutions for addressing racial equity.
It’s a great opportunity to learn first hand her vision for leading the community of Ashland and the region forward into this new year.
