Call to Action: January 23, 2019
JOIN INDIVISIBLE’S NATIONAL CALL-IN DAY
REOPEN THE GOVERNMENT NOW
#EndTheShutdown #NoBorderWall #DitchMitch
It is Day 33 of the shutdown and we have a chance to help those suffering from the shutdown. We must act now and also get all of our friends and families to act now.
McConnell has agreed to allow two bills to come to the Senate floor for
The Trump-McConnell compromise is a sham. In exchange for a permanent wall, we get anti-immigration policies of :
- Only temporary protection for DACA and TPS recipients– who need protection because Trump ended their existing protected status
- Racially changed asylum laws meant to deter those seeking asylum and slash the number granted asylum
Today is Indivisible’s National Call-In Day. We must send a clear message to Trump and McConnell: temper tantrums and hostage-taking are losing negotiating tactics and the government must reopen with . . .
NO MONEY for Trump’s wall!
Calls work!
Keep Calling Until We Prevail!

ACTION ONE: CALL YOUR SENATORS
“My name is [–] and I’m a constituent from [town/city], Oregon [zip code]. I am calling to demand that Senator [–] 1) support the continuing resolution to reopen the government with no money for the wall, 2) get as many of your GOP colleagues as you can to support the continuing resolution, and 3) oppose any deal that provides money for Trump’s racist wall. Thank you.”
