Government should strive to help the many, but this GOP led Congress is determined to serve the interests of their donors and base at the expense of the rest of America.
The GOP-led Senate is barreling towards confirming Brett Kavanaugh as though America owes Kavanaugh a Supreme Court seat. They do this knowing Kavanaugh has repeatedly lied, believes in conspiracy theories, demonstrates partisan ideology, lack judicial temperament, and has been accused of credible allegations of sexual assault. Kavanaugh will serve this President and this GOP and that is all that matters to them.
The GOP House just passed a $3.1 trillion tax cut, which will add $3.8 trillion to the US deficit over the next 20 years. This is in addition to 2017 $1.5 trillion tax cut which has ballooned the deficit. House Republicans have used the deficit their $1.5 trillion tax cut created to justify cutting $537 billion from Medicare, $1.5 trillion from Medicaid, and $2.6 trillion from our safety net. These tax cuts will serve their donors and that is all that matters to them.

**ACTION THREE: DEFEAT DISHONEST MEASURE 103**
Measure 103 on the November ballot is vaguely written and would amend the Oregon state constitution, ostensibly to protect groceries from taxation. The truth is groceries are not now taxed nor in danger of being taxed. The purpose of this measure is to put tax loopholes for big corporations into the state constitution. VOTE NO ON MEASURE 103.
