PROTECT OUR HEALTHCARE
Healthcare is a human right. Yet every action Trump, his administration, and his GOP have taken on healthcare has caused harm. More people are uninsured. Premiums are going up.
The attacks on preexisting conditions continue:
- 75% of Americans want to keep ACA protections for preexisting conditions and yesterday a coalition of Republican led Attorneys General argued a case to declare the ACA, and coverage of preexisting conditions, unconstitutional. The Trump regime refuses to defend preexisting conditions coverage, leaving the defense of the ACA to others.
- Brett Kavanaugh has refused to provide assurances that he would support requiring insurance companies to cover preexisting conditions. If confirmed to the Supreme Court, Kavanaugh will likely hear the case regarding preexisting conditions and has also argued that the President can decline to enforce a statue—such as the ACA and the coverage of preexisting conditions—even if a court upholds its constitutionality.
Demand a government—including the Supreme Court—that will fight for our wellbeing and defend our healthcare!
Work to turn both houses of Congress BLUE and, remember . . .
