DAYS UNTIL MID-TERM BALLOTS WILL BE MAILED: 23

DAYS UNTIL MID-TERM BALLOTS ARE DUE: 43

NO ONE IS SAFE FROM THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION’S RACISM

Children deserve to be with people who genuinely care for them. It is devastating to see the American government tearing families apart and enacting policies designed to hurt people.

Ignoring warnings about causing trauma, the Trump administration created family separation at the border and are defying court orders to end this heinous practice.  12,800 migrant children are in detention, who are at times the victims of abuse.  The agony will only get worse as a rule has been proposed to prolong the detention of children. Adults who come forward to care for these children are being arrested and deported, and contracts have been awarded for additional detention camps.

These racist attacks go beyond the border.

Countrymen in Puerto Rico have been abandoned after Hurricane Maria, their deaths denied by Trump. US citizens are being denied passports. A rule has been proposed that immigrants who use public services will be denied green cards and citizenship.

The Trump administration sees anyone who is not like them, white and affluent, as “other” and is leveraging their racist agenda to inflict harm.

We must not stand on the sidelines!

We must stand up for America and demand an end to these racist policies!
