Trumpcare/AHCA/BRCA hurts America. And it hurts Oregon. Trumpcare will mean:
• the number of uninsured in Oregon will triple by 2021
• 440,000 Oregonians are at risk to lose health coverage
• Oregon will face a $6.2 BILLION cost shift due to Medicaid cuts
• 23,000 jobs will be lost

We had a victory this past week when Trumpcare stalled in the Senate but the bill is still alive. We CANNOT let up. Mitch McConnell is working to have a vote when the Senate returns after the 4th of July recess http://bit.ly/2tpMpcc.
WE MUST RESIST while Senators are at home for the 4th of July recess.
Here is a game plan for the 4th of July recess:
• Call Senator Merkley and Senator Wyden DAILY. They need our support to lead the resistance against Trumpcare.
• Call Congressman Walden DAILY. He needs to hear that we will not accept legislation that puts the lives of Oregonians at risk!
• Help friends and family in red states tell their “swing” senators to vote NO on Trumpcare https://www.trumpcareten.org/.
• Check our Calls to Action next week for daily tailored actions to resist Trumpcare over the holiday.

SCRIPT FOR GREG WALDEN: “My name is [–] and I’m a constituent from [city], Oregon. I am appalled that Representative Walden’s was an architect of Trumpcare in the House. I’m aghast at what is happening with the bill in the Senate. I will remember his role and his vote come November 2018.
**ACTION 3: CALL EVERYONE YOU KNOW IN RED STATES, esp. AK, AR, AZ, CO, LA, ME, NV, OH, PA, WI, WV
