STOP ICE ABUSES!

Immigrants and refugees are people. Yet, Trump denies their basic humanity. Enraged by his inability to “build the wall,” Trump focuses obsessively on the number of immigrants/refugees attempting to cross the border each month and seeks to appease his base by encouraging abuses and policies aimed at lowering that number. Trump has again put his personal concerns above all else.

ICE has become Trump’s “personal bullying squad.”

ICE is out of control. It has:

  • Fatally shot an unarmed woman
  • Arrested parents with children, splitting families apart
  • Killed a citizen in a non-immigration-related matter
  • Lied about its activities, prompting one top official to resign
  • Been accused of many abuses against children

Startling cruelty animates this administration. AG Jeff Sessions threatened, “If you cross this border unlawfully … we will prosecute you … and [your] child may be separated from you ….” WH Chief of Staff Kelly flippantly said that these children would be “put into foster care or whatever.”

Congress must investigate and correct these abuses and . . .

Stop ICE from splitting up families or defund it!

**ACTION THREE: NOVEMBER IS COMING**

We have choices to make this fall. Do we want the current administration’s cruel immigration policies that split families and harm children? If the answer is no, then join us in supporting candidates who will work for us. ICE has been described as Trump’s “personal bullying squad.” We must work to stop it. Even Melania has come out against bullying—GREG WALDEN HAS NOT! #FireWalden

The 2018 elections will be the most important of our lives.
