This event on the “Green New Deal,” will be held at SOU from 12-4 pm on Thursday, May 30 may be of interest to you. Local activist organizations tabling at the event include Our Revolution Southern Oregon, Rogue Climate, Southern Oregon Climate Action Network and Peace House. Oregon HB 2020, “Relating to greenhouse gas emissions; declaring an emergency,” and which establishes a “Climate Policy Office” will also be discussed.
