The Climate Vulnerable: Communities are not affected by climate change in equal ways. Many poor and rural communities bear the brunt of the effects of climate change. The legislation proposed in Salem will hopefully seek to correct some of the disparities in the abilities and resources needed to cope with climate change. On Monday, February 11, we will hear from people advocating for these communities. Speakers will be announced in a follow-up email.
After this discussion, we will have to determine what actions and alliance we can make to aid vulnerable communities.
