UPDATE: New Venue: Medford Public Library
UPDATE: The date for the Jordan Cove/FERC Open House has been pushed back 2 weeks to Thursday March 23rd.
Jordan Cove and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) are hosting an Open House in Medford, March 23rd from 4-8PM to offer information about the third time proposed Jordan Cove LNG Project.
The Jordan Cove LNG Project was denied in 2016 by the FERC and should have been put to rest. However, the company is hopeful that under a new administration, the project will move forward.
It’s time to let our public officials know that Southern Oregon does not want the LNG fracked gas pipeline and export terminal project brought back from the dead. Big turnout will show our federal and state government that we want good-paying, sustainable jobs, intact rivers and forests, and a healthy climate! Southern Oregon does not want a dangerous fossil fuel export project that will hurt us all.
