Yesterday we saw an entitled, white frat-boy-bully repeatedly assert his “privilege” as he angrily yelled and rudely talked over female Senators seeking to get to the truth. It should have never come to this. The hearing was a sham. The GOP allowed only one of the three women who have credibly accused Kavanaugh to testify. They refused to subpoena Mark Judge, Kavanaugh’s buddy. They refused to ask the FBI to re-open its background investigation. They still haven’t gotten the most important documents from the National Archives.
Anyone who watched Dr. Christine Blasey Ford testify knows that she was telling the truth. She came forward on her own, before Kavanaugh’s nomination, to tell her story at great risk and cost to herself.
We must keep this unfit bully off SCOTUS. He:
- Is credibly accused by multiple women of sexual assault
- Has repeatedly lied under oath
- Has abused alcohol
- Demonstrated at the hearing that he cannot control himself
- Came out as a GOP partisan, not an unbiased judge
- Was nominated as a “get-out-of-jail-free card” by Trump, named as a co-conspirator in Michael Cohen’s crimes

Please do everything you can to ensure that there is no Senate vote on Kavanaugh’s nomination until the allegations against him have been investigated, all the records are released, and the Mueller investigation has cleared Trump. The only state without any limits on Roe has on November’s ballot a constitutional amendment (Measure 106) that would eliminate reproductive healthcare coverage from insurance policies covering low-income Oregonians and public employees, such as teachers, nurses, and firefighters.
