Southern Oregon Climate Action Now (SOCAN) is offering and ORD2 Indivisible is co-sponsoring a candidate forum for candidates competing for the Oregon Legislature in Senate District 3, and House Districts 5 and 6. All candidates in these races have been invited. The topic will be Environmental Challenges. Candidates accepting our invitation are SD3 Jeff Golden, Jessica Gomez; HD5 Pam Marsh (incumbent); HD6 Michelle Blum Atkinson.
The organizers will develop a set of questions that will be provided to the candidates a week or more in advance and additional questions will be submitted by audience members as they arrive at the event.
Following the forum, candidates and voters will be able to engage in informal conversations regarding the issues.
This candidate form will take place at the Medford Public Library, Large Meeting Room, on Monday, October 1 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
