Rogue Climate’s Bilingual/Bicultural team is organizing a “Climate Fiesta” to kick off the global week of climate action. This “Fiesta” is in solidarity with the thousands of youth and adults who will strike all across the US and world to demand transformative action be taken to address the climate crisis.
Come for music, speakers, tamales, and opportunities to take action and learn more about the movement for climate justice in Southern Oregon. This the goal of the “Fiesta” is to make participating in this week of action more accessible, as different groups of people may face different consequences for walking out than others. The event will be bi-lingual in Spanish and English, and community organizations are invited to table.
