Southern Oregon Climate Action Now (SOCAN) is offering and ORD2 Indivisible is co-sponsoring a candidate forum for candidates competing for the Jackson County Commission, Seats 1 and 3. All candidates in these races have been invited. The topic will be Environmental Challenges. Candidates accepting our invitation are Seat 1 – Amy Thuren, Seat 3 – Lanita Witt.
The organizers will develop a set of questions that will be provided to the candidates a week or more in advance and additional questions will be submitted by audience members as they arrive at the event.
Following the forum, candidates and voters will be able to engage in informal conversations regarding the issues.
The candidate forum will take place at the Medford Public Library, Large Meeting Room on Monday, October 15 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
